Day 1

You'll arrive at Keflavik international airport and transfer to Silica Hotel where you'll have the opportunity to soak in the thermal waters of the famous Blue Lagoon and washaway your journey. This immediate immersion into Iceland's geothermal waters is the perfect start to your Iceland adventure.

In the evening you’ll enjoy a special welcome dinner and trip briefing overlooking the Blue Lagoon.

Day 2

Today you’ll be visiting Reykjanes peninsula - a UNESCO Global Geopark. The geopark is a rugged landscape of black lava fields, colorful geothermal areas, crater rows and volcanoes. Here you will be able to walk to the lava fields of the 2021 Fagradalsfjall volcano eruption and enjoy a walk through Seltún Geothermal area.

We will stop for lunch in the town of Selfoss - the largest town in South Iceland, where you'll have some free time to explore, and if you like, visit ‘Skyrland’ to learn about Iceland’s unique superfood. You’ll then drive to Hveragerði for a walk through the village before being taken to your accommodation for the next three days to settle in.

Optional add-on: If you would like to experience the Icelandic countryside on horseback, we can arrange for you to take part in a short horse-riding tour at Eldhestar to get a small taste of the Icelandic horse’s unique qualities.

Day 3

Today will be an early start for the Sólheimajökull glacier hike! You'll have a once-in-a-lifetime experience hiking through ice sculptures, crevasses, streams, and rock formations to witness an awe-inspiring glacier close up and learn about the impacts our changing climate is having on these fragile landscapes.

In the afternoon you will visit the beautiful Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls, before heading back to your accommodation to spend the afternoon relaxing in hot tubs and enjoying the surroundings of your accommodation.

Day 4

This morning you will visit the iconic Gullfoss waterfall as well as the Geysir hot spring area with boiling mud pits, exploding geysers and the lively Strokkur which spouts water into the air every few minutes. You’ll then enjoy a delicious lunch at the unique Friðheimar greenhouse. Using geothermal energy to heat the glasshouse, Friðheimar is a tomato extravaganza! 

After lunch you’ll enjoy a dip in the lovely warm waters of Fluðir Secret Lagoon, before stopping for a tour of Solheimar Ecovillage, the oldest eco-village in the world. You'll be inspired by the environmental and socially responsible work being done here, and this is also where $100 of your trip fee will be donated.

Day 5

This morning you’ll checkout of Eldhestar and drive to Þingvellir national park to explore this UNESCO world heritage site of great historical and geological significance. You will then drive to Reykjavík where you will receive an orientation tour with your driver-guide to help you on your way to do some sightseeing and exploring of your own in Iceland’s capital.

Day 6

On your final day in Iceland you will have a free day to explore Reykjavik city center for some final shopping. In the evening you'll gather together back at the Grand Hotel for your final dinner together, reliving memories with new friends and celebrating your time spent together.

Optional add-on: Enjoy a breathtaking whale watching experience under the excellent guidance of marine biologist guides and learn all about the incredible wildlife that call Iceland home.

Day 7

Farewell Iceland.

You'll need to book your return flight to depart today. Your hotel concierge will be able to assist you to arrange an airport transfer.

This trip is led by Andrea Mancuso, founder of Intentional Healing & Wellness
Andrea Mancuso is the founder of Intentional Healing & Wellness. A former School Psychologist in New York City for over 14 years, Andrea left the school system in 2021 to serve a greater mission. Andrea is highly skilled coach, mental health counselor and dynamic facilitator. She is a vulnerability advocate and host of The V Spot Podcast. Andrea attained Advanced Certification in Mental Health Counseling and an Associate Coaching Credential (ACC) in 2023. She is certified in Emotional Intelligence assessment and also obtained a Master of Science in Education (M.S. Ed.) in Therapeutic Interventions and a Professional Diploma in School Psychology from Fordham University in 2007.
